What is KiDig?
KiDig is a cloud-based software for time tracking, staff scheduling and staffing-requirement calculations in childcare facilities. The application is designed for providers, directors and staff.
Which facilities is KiDig suitable for?
KiDig is aimed at daycare centres, nurseries and after-school clubs of all provider types — municipal, church-run or independent. Whether a single facility or a group: KiDig adapts to your structure.
Is KiDig compliant with TVöD?
Yes. KiDig implements rules aligned with TVöD, including break regulations under the Working Hours Act, time supplements, overtime calculations and leave entitlements under § 26 TVöD.
Which working-time models are supported?
KiDig supports both average models (variable daily hours) and framework schedules (fixed weekly structure) as well as rotating-shift models.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. KiDig is available as a web app, an iOS app and an Android app. All versions offer the same full feature set.
Can I use KiDig for multiple facilities?
Yes. With the administration role you get a cross-facility view with transparent documentation and staffing planning.

How does the 90-day trial work?
Register your facility at app.kidig-online.de and test KiDig with full functionality for 90 days. No credit card required.
When is a demo useful?
When you manage multiple facilities, need to clarify TVöD or working-time rules, or want to plan a structured rollout.
Do we have to change our processes straight away for the trial?
No. Many teams start with one facility or one area and expand step by step.
What data do we need to get started?
Typically your facility, staff, basic rules and a planning view. Details like time models and special cases can be added gradually.
Pricing & Contract
How much does KiDig cost?
KiDig starts from €45 per month. Pricing is based on the number of staff members. Contact us for a personalised quote.
What happens after the 90 days?
After the trial period ends you can subscribe. Your data is preserved. Without a subscription, access is suspended.
Can I change my plan?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades are possible at any time and are pro-rated accordingly.
How can I cancel?
The contract has a minimum term of one year and can then be cancelled with three months' notice to the end of the year.
Security & Data Privacy
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored on servers within the EU (Heroku/AWS). Processing takes place exclusively in the EU.
Is KiDig GDPR-compliant?
Yes. KiDig meets the requirements of the GDPR. We offer data export (Art. 15), data deletion (Art. 17) and process data only to the extent necessary.
Who has access to my data?
Only authorised people within your facility. KiDig strictly isolates each facility's data. Staff can only see their own data.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Using the GDPR export function you can download all personal data of a staff member as a JSON file.
